Big announcement of state government, how much reduction in electricity rate per unit? Learn the details

 Big announcement of state government, how much reduction in electricity rate per unit? Learn the details

The state government has announced a reduction in fuel charges for the three months of October, November and December. The government announced a reduction of 19 paise per unit. Currently, the fuel surcharge is Rs 2 per unit. Which will now be 1 rupee and 81 paise. The state government's decision will benefit 14 million power consumers in the state to the tune of Rs 356 crore in three months.

Energy Minister Saurabhbhai Patel said that the state government led by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has taken various decisions in the interest of consumers so that the power consumers in the state get electricity at cheaper rates and the burden of power generation costs is not borne by the consumers. The state government has decided to reduce fuel surcharge from consumers by 12 paise per unit.

 As a result, more than 1.50 crore customers in the state will get a benefit of Rs 3 crore in three months.
The Energy Minister added that in addition to the energy charge, fuel surcharge is levied on the electricity bill from the consumers who consume the electricity. During the last quarter, i.e. during the quarter from July 2020 to September 2020, all the four power distribution companies under Gujarat Energy Development Corporation Limited were levying fuel surcharge at the rate of Rs 2.00 per unit. On the other hand, during the quarter from October 2020 to December 2020, fuel surcharge has to be levied at the rate of Rs 1.31 per unit. Due to this reduction in availability, power consumers will get a relief of Rs 3 crore.

Minister Patel added that the main reason for the reduction in fuel surcharge is that during this quarter, the state government has purchased gas at cheaper rates in the interest of consumers and has produced gas-based electricity which has reduced the cost of power generation. This means that more than 1.50 crore consumers will get this benefit directly, which will reduce their electricity bills and reduce their bills, he added.

Online education may be a sort of education where students use their home computers through the web . for several nontraditional students, among all of them those that want to continue working full time or raising families, online graduations and courses became popular within the past decade. Often online graduation and course programmes, a number of which are conducted using digital technologies, are provided via the web learning portal of the host university.

Primary teacher badali niymo 2020

“Online education is electronically supported learning that relies on the web for teacher/student interaction and therefore the distribution of sophistication materials.”

From this easy definition comes an almost infinite number of the way to show and learn outside of traditional classrooms and faraway from college campuses. With online education, students can turn anywhere with Internet access and electricity into a classroom. It can include audio, video, text, animations, virtual training environments and live chats with professors. It’s an upscale learning environment with far more flexibility than a standard classroom.

In comparisons of online and in-person classes, however, online classes aren’t as effective as in-person classes for many students. Only a touch research has assessed the consequences of online lessons for elementary and highschool students, and even less has used the “gold standard” method of comparing the results for college kids assigned randomly to online or in-person courses. Jessica Heppen and colleagues at the American Institutes for Research and therefore the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research randomly assigned students who had failed second semester Algebra I to either face-to-face or online credit recovery courses over the summer. Students’ credit-recovery success rates and algebra test scores were lower within the online setting. Students assigned to the web option also rated their class as harder than did their peers assigned to the face-to-face option.

It is not surprising that in-person courses are, on the average , simpler . Being face to face with teachers and other students creates social pressures and benefits which will help motivate students to interact . Some students do also in online courses as in in-person courses, some may very well do better, but, on the average , students do worse within the online setting, and this is often particularly true for college kids with weaker academic backgrounds.

Online education may be a flexible instructional delivery system that encompasses any quite learning that takes place via the web . Online learning gives educators a chance to succeed in students who might not be ready to enroll during a traditional classroom course and supports students who got to work on their own schedule and at their own pace.

The quantity of distance learning and online degrees in most disciplines is large and increasing rapidly. Schools and institutions that provide online learning also are increasing in number. Students pursuing degrees via the web approach must be selective to make sure that their coursework is completed through a respected and credentialed institution.

FUTURE OF ONLINE EDUCATION
Online teaching is here to remain . Many students prefer the web classroom since it offers flexibility in their busy schedules. With the proliferation of data and knowledge, students must become lifelong learners in today's world, and online education plays a crucial role in helping individuals access the learner-centered and self-directed instruction.

With enhanced software, hardware, and Internet access, more options for online education will become available. With student enrollments increasing faster than classrooms are often built, students becoming better with technology, and students pursuing an education that meets their needs, the longer term of online education will still grow. Online degree programs will become more widely accepted as they become a more common practice.

 Cybersecurity firm Avast Alert of 21 adware gaming apps on Google Play Store

  • Adware forcibly displays advertisements against the wishes of the user
  • 21 gaming apps with adware have received 8 million downloads

If you are a gaming lover then you need to be careful. Cybersecurity firm Avast has identified 21 malicious apps on the Google Play Store. All of these apps contained adware. These apps display ads against the wishes of the actual user, identifying themselves as having timepass and fun content. It attracts the user to download other similar gaming apps. Almost all apps are still available for download at PlayStop.

These 21 apps identified by Avast are in the adware category. Although these apps and games do not steal any data or perform any sensitive activities, they forcibly display advertisements to the user in order to generate revenue. Once this app is downloaded, it starts working.

It has been downloaded 8 million times so far

The app and games have been downloaded about 8 million times so far, according to Censor Tower statistics. Some users said that their focus was on the download page of some of these apps through YouTube ads, which claimed to be a better and different game than existing games. After downloading the games, the smartphone was flooded with advertisements.

Adware developers have been using social media channels for a long time. This time the user reports that they were targeted for ads promoting games on YouTube. Advertising spread through Tiktok in September, said Jacob Wavra, a threat analyst at Avast.

Now it is difficult to remove it from the device

This type of software presents itself as a secure and useful application, but they display unwanted ads. Its icon is hidden and ads are displayed with relevant appearances so that users cannot remove it in the smartphone. So it becomes difficult to identify and remove.

From October 28, Vaishnavism will be barred from entering the temple for darshan. Discussions are underway with the district administration to set a date for reopening the Darshan. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued guidelines on coronavirus status, meaning that the guidelines issued by the Ministry on September 30 regarding corona will now be applicable till November 30, 2020. This guideline will mean strict adherence to the lockdown in the containment zone but the process of resumption of operations in areas outside the containment zone will proceed. Since the first order was issued by the MHA on March 24, 2020 regarding the lockdown, all activities outside the containment zone have been gradually opened. Most of the activities are allowed, although activities involving large numbers of people are also allowed with some restrictions and are subject to SOPs in terms of health and health concerns. Such activities include metro rail, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants and hospitality services, places of worship, goy and training institutes, gymnasiums, cinemas, amusement parks etc.

Regarding some activities or activities with high risk of covid infection, the Ministry asked the State / UT Governments to properly assess the situation and take decision subject to SOP. Such activities and activities include schools and coaching institutes, public and private universities for research scholars, and gatherings of up to 100 people.

The Home Ministry has for the second time issued its September 30 orders announcing the Unlock-5 guideline in view of the Corona virus. It was informed that the guidelines announced by the Home Ministry on September 30 will now be applicable till November 30, 2020.

The Home Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that last month's guidelines, which allowed the reopening of cinema halls, would limit restrictions on swimming pools and meetings for players' training until November 30. "The Home Ministry has issued its orders dated 30.09.2020 to continue till 30.11.2020," the Press Information Bureau said.

The Unlock-5.0 guidelines were announced by the Union Home Ministry on September 30. Those guidelines came into force on October 1, and will now run until November 30. These guidelines allow for the opening of schools and coaching institutes by the Central Government. The planning of online classes by schools will still remain the same and no school can create pressure to call students to school.

The opening of educational institutions was allowed by the central government, but the final decision was left to the state governments. According to the government, the guideline of Unlock 5.0 has been prepared with the consent of the governments of the states and union territories.

Taking a web learning program, you will be an officially registered student at your institution and have access to an equivalent resources as an on-campus student, like your institution's digital library, learning management system (like Blackboard), building membership and more! a web degree is analogous to taking a course of study on campus, but you've got the liberty to direct your own study schedule.

Resources for Online Learning

In general, when taking a web course of study you would possibly encounter resources like:

  • EBooks;
  • Journals;
  • Videos;
  • Recorded lectures;
  • Quizzes;
  • Discussion forums
  • Live Q&A sessions; and
  • Interviews.

The resources offered to you for learning online will depend upon the institution where you're taking your online program. Some online learning programs may require you to order physical textbooks beforehand by within the mail, but these are generally being phased call at favor of eBooks and online-only methods of delivery.

For those institutions that have made the transition to using 100% online resources, students can expect to review employing a combination of cutting-edge technological resources with no got to visit attend lectures, exams or in-person discussion sessions!

Your school and your course instructor will determine the format for every individual course and can select delivery methods that are best suited to your course or program. What a Biology major must learn successfully online will differ from what an humanistic discipline major needs!

Online learning could also be a totally new experience for you. If you're coming from a more traditional learning background, read on to get the way to make

Our education structure is different and only limited people have access to digital media. we will enter into this model of education if all the scholars have access to internet and computers. But that's not the case.

With a view to understanding the tutorial problems under lockdown, i might wish to present my viewpoints within the wake of consultations with variety of individuals from academia into four parts:

Status of conventional education.

Universities, colleges and schools across the country are closed since March 16, 2020 when the Union Government announced a state classroom shutdown together of the main measures to contain the outbreak. Later, a nationwide lockdown was announced wef. March 24, 2020 which has now been extended till May 3, 2020.

According to UNESCO, as of Pan American Day , 188 countries round the world have closed schools nationwide, affecting over 1.5 billion learners and representing quite 91 per cent of total enrolled learners. the planet has never experienced such a dramatic impact on human capital investment and therefore the consequences of COVID-19 on economic, social and political indicators.

Status of online education under lockdown.

Although majority of the governments are making substantial efforts to make sure online educational opportunities, their capacity for the foremost disadvantaged populations varies enormously. The responses vary widely by level of income: but 25 per cent of low-income countries currently provide any sort of remote learning, and of those , the bulk are using TV and radio.

In contrast, on the brink of 90 per cent of high income countries are providing remote learning opportunities, nearly all of which are provided online. A lower share of lower-middle income countries – 66 per cent – offers online or broadcast remote learning opportunities to their students. But even when governments of low and middle-income countries attempt to offer online education, they're going to not be ready to reach most students: Only 36 per cent of the residents of lower-middle income countries have access to the web .

The learning gap between rich and poor will likely grow during the pandemic, not just between high and low-income countries, but also between high and low-income regions and communities within countries.

There are some predictable risks. One very real risk is exacerbating existing inequities. Today for college kids who don't have access to technology, books, food or literate adults reception , remote learning runs the danger of drastically widening the gap between haves and have-nots of these resources.

A panel appointed by the UGC has recommended that the tutorial session in universities and better educational institutions are often started from September, 2020 rather than July. 2020 in sight of the COVID-19 situation within the country.

A survey conducted by the University of Hyderabad (UoH) shows that the bulk of scholars don’t have proper access to the internet;

IMPORTANT LINK::

the university has decided to not impose online classes on their students and school at this juncture. It should be noted that UoH may be a top-ranking university in India. many universities across India are nowhere in comparison thereupon .

Never before in history had a whole generation of youngsters across the planet witnessed an identical disruption in education. As India witnessed the world’s most aggressive and largest lockdown as a precautions for Covid-19, academic institutions initiated online classes to cope up with the new normal. Corona pandemic has pushed the planet into an unprecedented education emergency

this abrupt switch to online schooling has been frustrating for all stakeholders, right from school managements to teachers to student and fogeys . A majority of teachers were ill-prepared to modify to online classes as they lacked the technological expertise or resources, some even had an apathy towards online teaching initially.

Not only that this it had been nightmarish for a few who faced unwanted intrusion by the peeping or argumentative parents, inappropriate remarks by students during classes and pranks played by students who would make false ID and enter the category as parent or relative made it difficult all the more.

Teachers, whether in government or private setups, had their own set of challenges. school teachers were more perturbed by online bullying by students and intrusion by parent or relatives whereas government school teachers had a greater challenge of imparting classes to students belong to economically weaker sections who didn't own a sensible phone or a basic mobile. The report “Save Our Education” citing data by UNESCO claimed that a whopping 9.7 million children will drop out of faculty permanently with no access to online education. It’s the poorest and most marginalised children who would suffer the best loss.

Researches also suggest that online education (Massive Open Online Courses, or MOOCs) has not lived up to expectations. this is often not surprising as earlier attempts like education by radio and tv couldn't meet the expectations. this point definitely has been nightmarish for educators because the online classes are here to remain and that they need to best ignore the misconduct of scholars during classes.

Online bullying by teenagers is extremely common, say teachers. Students create fake IDs and enter the classroom as a parent to confuse teachers and make a ruckus. Often privacy norms aren't followed and fogeys are seen roaming around in their night dresses during classes. Sudden guest appearance of mothers or domestic helps leaves the category in splits and disrupts the flow of the classroom. Trolling teachers by sending memes or calling names is nothing unusual, say teachers. Sharing of messages and name-calling can't be traced during online zoom classes leaving no other option but to continue with classes.

in online learning, communication, which is that the lifeline of teaching often gets disrupted thanks to multiple reasons including internet connectivity, inattentive and disengaged students, intrusion from parents or rowdy student behaviour towards teachers or one another . Students often excuse themselves from classes by blaming poor internet connectivity and miss classes. harder is that the situation of Primary teachers who need to also affect the youngsters deed and playing or getting easily distracted during online classes.

The quantity of distance learning and online degrees in most disciplines is large and increasing rapidly. Schools and institutions that provide online learning also are increasing in number. Students pursuing degrees via the web approach must be selective to make sure that their coursework is completed through a respected and credentialed institution.

ONLINE EDUCATION::

Online education may be a flexible instructional delivery system that encompasses any quite learning that takes place via the web . Online learning gives educators a chance to succeed in students who might not be ready to enroll during a traditional classroom course and supports students who got to work on their own schedule and at their own pace.

RATIONALE FOR CONSIDERING ONLINE EDUCATION

Online education has become a viable and exciting method for instructional delivery within the global business society that runs on a 24/7 schedule (24 hours a day/7 days a week) because it provides students with great flexibility.

With the increased availability of the web and technology , students are ready to access information anytime and anyplace that might normally be available only through a standard classroom. Studies have shown that students learn even as effectively in a web classroom as they are doing within the traditional classroom.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF LEARNING ONLINE

  • Online education offers many positive benefits since students:
  • have flexibility in taking classes and dealing at their own pace and time.
  • find the submission of assignments easy and convenient
  • are more apt to voice their own opinions and share and debate issues with other students, also as learn from other students during the group discussions
  • Possible negative effects of learning online are that some students:
  • may miss the face-to-face interaction with the trainer and among students
  • may like better to attend traditional classes with a teacher who teaches and guides them through the course
  • If this seems to be true, the countries will offer marquee investment opportunities during a deeply troubled world. But the question is—in which sectors?

This essay shall argue that online education in India, which was already seeing a boom before the Coronavirus crisis, is about soar within the post-Covid-19 world.

But, in India this has special resonance. Even before the Covid-19 crisis, notes a KPMG and Google study, the web education market in India was set to grow to $1.96 billion, with 9.6 million users, by 2021, up from $247 million and 1.6 million users in 2016. In January, Indian edtech company Byju’s hit unicorn status with a valuation of $6 billion with support from financiers Tiger Global.

They are not the sole one. A clutch of startups, often powered by AI , are grabbing market share and money within the country—from Simplilearn to Vedantu—fuelled by a seemingly insatiable demand from a young, ambitious population. India’s education market is about to hit around $180 billion this year, doubling from 2016 levels.

The nature of education, then, is ripe for change in India, because it is elsewhere. Only India has millions more customers ready at hand reception than at other countries. As more people seek learning at their convenience, and within the comfort of their homes, at a reasonable cost, the demand for online education will leapfrog. The market will get differentiated and opportunities would be unlocked at every level.

The Coronavirus crisis, coming because it did at a critical time within the educational calendar, has triggered a conversation about the longer term of education in India. Such questions are fuel for the web education industry which has both the power and therefore the technical knowhow to proportion rapidly.
