The rate of infection has dropped from 10 per cent to 7.2 per cent, with active cases accounting for only 24 per cent of the total cases.
About 2 million people have recovered, 2.93 times more than active cases
Corona vaccine is being developed in India. The trial of the third phase of one of them, Covexin, will start tomorrow. Of the remaining two vaccines, one is in Phase-1 and the other in Phase-2. The Ministry of Health and the Policy Commission made the disclosure at a press conference on Tuesday.
