Gujarat corona update date 16 august 2020
6 more positive cases have been reported in Dabhoi city and taluka today. According to the data released by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, the total number of positive cases of corona in Vadodara city and district has reached over 6224 and the official death toll has risen to 118. A total of 4944 patients have recovered so far. There are currently 1156 active cases, of which 153 patients are on oxygen and 51 patients are on ventilator and 952 patients are stable.

City: Warsia Road, New VIP Road, Wadi, Harni Warsia Road, Waghodia Road, Sangam, Chokhandi, Makarpura, Tarsali, Ajwa Road, Kala Darshan, Tandalja, Vasana Road, Old Padra Road, Harni, Khodiyarnagar
Rural: Padra, Sevasi, Asoj, Jarod, Ranoli, Ambali, Savli, Kambola, Oslam, Karjan, Dabhoi
The highest number of 1720 cases in the northern area of Vadodara city
So far 6218 positive cases of corona have been reported in Vadodara city. Out of which 1052 cases have been reported in East Zone, 906 in West Zone, 1720 in North Zone, 1222 in South Zone, 1287 in rural Vadodara and 31 cases have been reported from outside cities and states.
Corona's condition in the state is getting worse day by day. Today 1120 patients were registered. On the other hand, 959 patients have recovered and returned home. The government is also claiming that the number of tests in the state is increasing day by day. A total of 50560 tests were conducted in the state today. Which is 777.84 per million per day according to the population of the state. A total of 13,12,824 tests have been conducted in the state so far. A total of 1114 cases have been reported from 1114 districts of the state and 06 from other states. Today, 959 patients have recovered and gone home.
