Causes of Pimples Oily Skin: Dandruff also causes pimples, learn the right skin care routine from a beauty expert

Causes of Pimples Oily Skin: Dandruff also causes pimples, learn the right skin care routine from a beauty expert

Pimples grow due to sweat and oil

There is only one reason for sweating - sweating when the humidity is high. Excess humidity increases both sweat and excess oil in the skin. Dirt and pollution particles quickly cling to excess oil and sweat on skin. Due to which pimples appear on the skin and the skin looks lifeless.

Usually, the increased humidity in the monsoons increases both sweat and oil on the skin, leading to acne breakouts.

Changes in hormones cause sweating

Acne appears when the body undergoes hormonal changes. That is why pimples appear on the skin of teenagers. At this point, this situation must be prevented from spreading. If acne is more common in teenagers, visit a dermatologist and get proper treatment to protect the skin from pimples and blemishes.

Pimples occur on oily skin

Acne usually occurs on oily skin. That's why both sweat and oil clog pores and make the skin prone to acne breakouts. Acne starts with blackheads, which clog pores due to sweat and oil build-up and harden to form blackheads.

Avoid picking at blackheads, as it aggravates acne. Blackheads set the stage for acne. If you have oily skin, go for a 'cleansing' at a good beauty salon, where blackheads will also be removed.

Pimples, also known as acne, can develop for various reasons, and they are a common skin condition. Here are some of the primary factors that contribute to the formation of pimples:

1. **Excess Sebum Production:** Sebum is an oily substance produced by the sebaceous glands in the skin. When these glands produce too much sebum, it can mix with dead skin cells and clog pores. This is a key factor in the development of pimples.

2. **Clogged Pores:** When pores become clogged with a combination of sebum, dead skin cells, and sometimes bacteria, it creates an environment where pimples can form.

3. **Bacteria:** The skin is inhabited by various bacteria, including Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes). When these bacteria multiply within clogged pores, they can trigger inflammation and the formation of pimples.

4. **Hormonal Changes:** Hormonal fluctuations, often associated with puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, and certain medical conditions, can lead to increased sebum production and, consequently, an increased risk of pimples.

5. **Diet:** Some studies suggest that certain foods, particularly those high in sugar and dairy products, may contribute to acne development in some individuals.

6. **Stress:** Stress can exacerbate acne or trigger breakouts in some people, possibly due to its influence on hormonal balance.

7. **Medications:** Some medications, such as corticosteroids, can contribute to acne as a side effect.

8. **Genetics:** A family history of acne can increase the likelihood of developing pimples.

9. **Environmental Factors:** Exposure to pollutants, humidity, and certain skincare or cosmetic products can also influence the development of pimples.

10. **Friction and Pressure:** Frequent rubbing or pressure on the skin, such as from tight clothing or helmets, can lead to the development of acne, particularly in areas where friction occurs.

It's important to note that while these factors can contribute to the development of pimples, individual experiences with acne can vary widely. Some people may be more prone to acne due to a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors, while others may have clear skin throughout their lives. Effective acne management often involves a combination of skincare practices, dietary choices, and, in some cases, medical treatments prescribed by a healthcare professional. If you're concerned about acne, it's a good idea to consult a dermatologist for personalized advice and treatment options.

If you want to keep diabetes / sugar under control, improve these eating habits today

If you want to keep diabetes / sugar under control, improve these eating habits today

Controlling sugar levels in the body is important for individuals with conditions like diabetes or those who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Here are some general tips for managing and controlling sugar levels:

1. Monitor Your Carbohydrate Intake:

Carbohydrates, especially those that are quickly digested and converted into sugar, can cause a spike in blood sugar levels. Pay attention to the types and amounts of carbohydrates you consume, and consider consulting with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian to determine an appropriate carbohydrate intake for your specific needs.

2. Choose Low Glycemic Index Foods:

The glycemic index (GI) is a measure of how quickly a carbohydrate-containing food raises blood sugar levels. Foods with a low GI are digested and absorbed more slowly, causing a slower and more gradual increase in blood sugar levels. Opt for whole grains, legumes, non-starchy vegetables, and fruits with a lower GI.

3. Portion Control:

Keep an eye on portion sizes to avoid consuming excessive amounts of sugar and carbohydrates. Be mindful of the total amount of food you eat, and consider using smaller plates or bowls to help control portion sizes.

4. Regular Physical Activity:

Engaging in regular physical activity, such as aerobic exercises, can help improve insulin sensitivity and assist in maintaining balanced blood sugar levels. Consult with your healthcare provider to determine the appropriate level and intensity of exercise for your health condition.

5. Include Fiber-Rich Foods: Fiber helps slow down the absorption of sugar into the bloodstream, promoting more stable blood sugar levels. Include plenty of fiber-rich foods in your diet, such as whole grains, legumes, fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

6. Avoid Sugary Beverages: Sugary drinks like sodas, fruit juices, and sweetened beverages can cause a rapid increase in blood sugar levels. Opt for water, herbal tea, or unsweetened beverages instead.

7. Eat Regular Meals: Maintaining regular meal timings can help regulate blood sugar levels. Avoid skipping meals or going for long periods without eating, as this can lead to unstable blood sugar levels.

8. Monitor Your Blood Sugar Levels: If you have diabetes or suspect you may have blood sugar issues, regularly monitor your blood sugar levels as recommended by your healthcare provider. This can help you understand how your body responds to different foods and lifestyle choices.

Eat yogurt daily: Yogurt is considered a probiotic food. Yogurt is very beneficial for health. According to Ayurveda, you should not consume curd every day, as consuming too much of it can lead to weight gain, impaired metabolism and inflammation.

Heavy Dinner: There are many people who have their dinner very late. This has a very bad effect on your digestive system. Health experts say that there should be at least 2 to 3 hours gap between dinner and sleep. Having a heavy dinner at night increases the load on the liver and also slows down the metabolism. Due to which you may face many problems.

Overeating: There are many people who put too much food on their plate, after which they have to overeat to finish that food. Let's say, when you eat more than you want, you face obesity, cholesterol and digestive problems.

Eating even when not hungry: If you eat without paying attention to your body's cues, you may face many problems. Many times when people are under stress, they start eating a lot despite not feeling hungry. Health experts say, do not try to forcefully eat when you are not hungry.

Remember, it's essential to work closely with a healthcare professional, such as a doctor or registered dietitian, to create an individualized plan for controlling sugar levels based on your specific health condition, lifestyle, and needs. They can provide personalized guidance and support to help you manage your sugar levels effectively.

Too Much Leaning Bad For Health: May Raise High Blood Pressure And Risk Of Stroke, Study Reveals

Too Much Leaning Bad For Health: May Raise High Blood Pressure And Risk Of Stroke, Study Reveals

People who snack all day are more likely to develop high blood pressure and have a stroke, a new study has found. Yes, it is normal if you sometimes take a light nap of 10-15 minutes in the afternoon, but if these naps go beyond this period and become your routine, it can cause many problems for your health. However, only one reason is mainly responsible for daytime tilting and that is poor night sleep. "A poor night's sleep is associated with poorer health," clinical psychologist Michael Grandner said in a statement.

The study found that people who usually nap during the day are 24% more likely to have a stroke and 12% more likely to develop high blood pressure compared to people who never sleep. According to a study published Monday in the American Heart Association's journal Hypertension, people age 60 and younger whose daily routine has become daytime naps have a 20% increased risk of developing high blood pressure compared to those who rarely sleep.

The American Heart Association recently added 'sleep duration' as one of its eight essential metrics for heart and brain health. These results held true even after the researchers excluded from the study people at high risk of hypertension, such as those with type-2 diabetes, current high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep disorders, and those who worked night-shifts. were excluded from the study.

Director of the Center for Circadian and Sleep Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Phyllis Zee said, 'The results show that too much sleep increases the chances of hypertension and stroke. These results did not change even after taking into account all factors associated with risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke.'

Prolonged sleep is worse for health

The study used data from 3,60,000 people who provided information about their sleeping habits to the UK Biobank. The data was for UK residents from 2006 to 2010. People in the study provided regular blood, urine, and saliva samples and answered all sleep-related questions during the four-year study. However, only nap frequency was collected in this study, not duration.

What should sleep be? They did not define it. Associate professor of clinical medicine at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine, sleep specialist Dr. Raj Dasgupta said, "If you are sleeping for an hour or two, you cannot call it 'napping' (lying on your side).

A 15 to 20 minute 'power nap' between 12pm and 2am is 100% effective if you are prone to napping, but if you suffer from chronic insomnia then 'napping' is not for you at all, it is part of your regular nightly sleep life cycle. can be disturbing. Most of the people in the study who regularly napped for 2-4 hours a day, smoked cigarettes, drank, snored and had insomnia.

Many of these factors can affect the quality and duration of a person's sleep, experts said. Poor sleep leads to excessive daytime fatigue, resulting in excessive sleepiness throughout the day. I believe that long naps during the day are a sign of a sleep disorder. It can lead you to high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes, which are risk factors for heart disease.

If the vision becomes blurred and home remedies do not seem to be beneficial, an eye specialist should be consulted immediately.

CATARACT

The home treatment for this disease is to shake with cold water if there is itching or swelling and shake with warm water if there is pain or vaccine. Clean the eyelids with warm water and do not scratch the eye. Avoid direct contact with the patient to prevent the spread of the disease. Items of the patient's personal use should be kept separate and hands should be washed frequently. The disease usually goes away in 8 to 10 days but if the pain or swelling increases, there is a lot of vaccination, blisters or sores on the eyelids and there is no benefit from home treatment, consult a doctor.

CORNEAL ULCERS
