Learning through online education October Unit Test preparation  std 5 Environment

The quantity of distance learning and online degrees in most disciplines is large and increasing rapidly. Schools and institutions that provide online learning also are increasing in number. Students pursuing degrees via the web approach must be selective to make sure that their coursework is completed through a respected and credentialed institution.

ONLINE EDUCATION::

Online education may be a flexible instructional delivery system that encompasses any quite learning that takes place via the web . Online learning gives educators a chance to succeed in students who might not be ready to enroll during a traditional classroom course and supports students who got to work on their own schedule and at their own pace.

RATIONALE FOR CONSIDERING ONLINE EDUCATION

Online education has become a viable and exciting method for instructional delivery within the global business society that runs on a 24/7 schedule (24 hours a day/7 days a week) because it provides students with great flexibility.

With the increased availability of the web and technology , students are ready to access information anytime and anyplace that might normally be available only through a standard classroom. Studies have shown that students learn even as effectively in a web classroom as they are doing within the traditional classroom.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF LEARNING ONLINE

  • Online education offers many positive benefits since students:
  • have flexibility in taking classes and dealing at their own pace and time.
  • find the submission of assignments easy and convenient
  • are more apt to voice their own opinions and share and debate issues with other students, also as learn from other students during the group discussions
  • Possible negative effects of learning online are that some students:
  • may miss the face-to-face interaction with the trainer and among students
  • may like better to attend traditional classes with a teacher who teaches and guides them through the course
  • If this seems to be true, the countries will offer marquee investment opportunities during a deeply troubled world. But the question is—in which sectors?

This essay shall argue that online education in India, which was already seeing a boom before the Coronavirus crisis, is about soar within the post-Covid-19 world.

But, in India this has special resonance. Even before the Covid-19 crisis, notes a KPMG and Google study, the web education market in India was set to grow to $1.96 billion, with 9.6 million users, by 2021, up from $247 million and 1.6 million users in 2016. In January, Indian edtech company Byju’s hit unicorn status with a valuation of $6 billion with support from financiers Tiger Global.

They are not the sole one. A clutch of startups, often powered by AI , are grabbing market share and money within the country—from Simplilearn to Vedantu—fuelled by a seemingly insatiable demand from a young, ambitious population. India’s education market is about to hit around $180 billion this year, doubling from 2016 levels.

The nature of education, then, is ripe for change in India, because it is elsewhere. Only India has millions more customers ready at hand reception than at other countries. As more people seek learning at their convenience, and within the comfort of their homes, at a reasonable cost, the demand for online education will leapfrog. The market will get differentiated and opportunities would be unlocked at every level.

The Coronavirus crisis, coming because it did at a critical time within the educational calendar, has triggered a conversation about the longer term of education in India. Such questions are fuel for the web education industry which has both the power and therefore the technical knowhow to proportion rapidly.
