In the late evening, 5.51 lakh lamps were used to light the Ram Ki Padi.
The lamps were lit at the Ram Janmabhoomi premises after a long delay of 492 years
At the same time, after a long delay of 492 years, the occasion came when a lamp was lit in the premises of Ram Janmabhoomi. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi has made it possible to build Shri Ram Mandir even during the epidemic. 7.51 lakh lamps to be lit in next Dipotsav Ayodhya: CM Yogi
CM Yogi Adityanath said that he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of the region and all the devotees. With his inspiration, his guidance, his strategy, the country and the world are witnessing the fulfillment of five centuries of resolve. The Chief Minister said, "We have not only made Ram Ki Padi clean and tidy, but also expanded its area." This year 5.51 lakh lamps have been lit. This number is expected to reach 7.51 lakh next year.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that when the leadership of the country is in successful hands, no one can stop the country from becoming a world power. So India succeeds in making their power felt in front of the world. The people have faith in Prime Minister Modi. Earlier, Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Laxmanji rode on a chariot and reached Ramakatha Park. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath crowned Shri Ram at Ram Katha Park Manch. Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister and other dignitaries recited the Aarti of Lord Rama, Mother Sita and Lakshmanji. The 500-year wait of Ram devotees finally came to an end when Chief Minister Yogi lit the first lamp in the Ram Janmabhoomi premises. Earlier, Diwali was celebrated in Ayodhya, but not in the Ram Janmabhoomi premises. The reason was the temple-mosque dispute. The controversy was ended by the Supreme Court in its landmark decision on November 9 last year. 4:05 PM: Ram Katha Park has been decorated for the main event. The magnificent pandal and stage are built. In a few minutes, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform Aarti of Lord Rama, Mother Sita and Lakshmanji on the stage.

3:51 PM: CM Yogi Adityanath as well as Governor Anandiben Patel have left for Ram Katha Park after paying homage to Ramlala at Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi premises and lighting lamps.

3:43 PM: This time 6 lakh lamps will be lit on Ram Ki Padi. 5.51 lakh lamps will be lit at 24 ghats of Saryu. This will be a world record for lighting so many lamps at once. 29,000 liters of oil will be used to light this lamp.
